Alocasia Melo, Rooted Starter

Meet the Alocasia Melo! These little ones have thick, velvety, deep green leaves with a rugged, almost sculpted texture that you really have to touch to believe. It's a compact, slow growing Alocasia that stays small enough for a desk or shelf, so it's perfect for collectors short on space.

Each one is a young, rooted starter in its nursery pot, established and growing. The plant you receive will look similar to the photos, since every leaf is a little different.

Care tips: Bright, indirect light. Let the top inch or so of soil dry before watering, and use a chunky, airy mix that drains well. Melos love warmth and higher humidity, and they grow slowly, so don't worry if new leaves take their time.

Pet note: Alocasias are toxic if chewed or eaten, so keep away from curious pets and kids.
